‘The Brady Bunch’ Actress Ann B. Davis Dead At 88

I do and always will love you Ms. Davis, you were a great actress.

CBS New York

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Emmy-winning actress Ann B. Davis, who played the housekeeper on “The Brady Bunch,” has died at a San Antonio hospital. She was 88.

Bexar County, Texas, medical examiner’s investigator Sara Horne says Davis died Sunday morning. Horne says no cause of death is available and that an autopsy is planned Monday.

Bishop Bill Frey, a longtime friend of Davis, says she suffered a fall Saturday at her San Antonio home and never recovered.

“The Brady Bunch” debuted in 1969 and aired for five years, with Davis as Alice, the mainstay for the blended sitcom family. Davis appeared in various Brady spinoffs and sequels over the years.

In the 1950s, Davis was the sharp-tongued secretary on another stalwart TV sitcom, “The Bob Cummings Show.” The role brought her two Emmys.

A Memorial Poem

I thought I saw a ghost lingering above a grave,

Eyes glazed arms outspread waiting for its time,

A light shines from a distant ship on it held sharply dressed men,

They stood in formation arms pivoted till fingers touched their heads,

And one by one a head turned to my direction in which I smiled because I remembered the faces,

The faces of courage, honour, and pride for their homeland,

The ghost lingered more so now towards the direction of the boat,

It moaned and groaned as it raised its arm in a final salute to his brethren,

A horn blared as if they saw what I saw a ghost wearing his own battle uniform,

Saluting a farewell a final goodbye,

The ghost turned the eyes finally settling on me,

With a fading smile and a slight wink it again raised its arm to salute me,

I smiled back and raised my arm in honor of the fallen hero,

He faded more and more as the sun began to rise and the ships of war began to settle back into the mist,

I climbed a rock no a boulder and stood before a vast sea,

A sea that held honor, pride, and courage on vessels,

That held many men who were saying hello of final goodbyes,

I rasied my arm stood straight as pole and saluted the brave men for their victory and for their return.

In a way I said hello as another who floated god like said goodbye.

My Weight ;0

Or how about one of those days when you feel like “I put on weight and now I can lift weights!”

Have you ever had one of those days when you are like “I put on weight” but you really didn’t.

Or lastly a feeling of complete discrimination.

I suffer from cantmakeupmyminditis in which everyday is a struggle to find out what I am.

I also struggle with making and obtaining my weight and when I do gain weight, I feel like I could lift a thousand teddy bears!

N.J. Rehab Facility Preparing Orphaned West Milford Bear Cubs For The Wild

Awwwwwwwww

CBS New York

PITTSTOWN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Three orphaned bear cubs found earlier this week are being rehabilitated in the hills of Hunterdon County.

CBS 2’s Vanessa Murdock took a trip to the Woodlands Wildlife Refuge on Friday to check up on the cubs.

By human standards, the three bear cubs were having the worst week of their life. They were orphaned Sunday when their mother was euthanized for breaking into a West Milford home. Video shows one of cubs dangling 50 feet off the ground after it scrambled up a tree during the ordeal.

Days later, they were scared, but safe at the Woodlands Wildlife Refuge. Murdock was offered a rare look inside.

“They’re trying to hide. They know that people aren’t something they’re supposed to be friendly with,” refuge executive director Tracy Leaver said.

Leaver said the short time the cubs had with their mother is irreplaceable.

“They’ve learned some…
