The Other Half Of Me

I weave a story into the air,

About two sister’s whose love they share,

They played and laughed,

They were always together,

The sister’s promised this forever and ever,

Until one day a dragon in human flesh,

Stole one sister’s heart and together they meshed,

Only at the station she watched them go,

She watched her sister’s hand wave to and fro,

Alas the sister was alone and heartbroken,

While her sister went out and formed love that rocked like an ocean,

Then one day the lone sister heard “Hey”,

She turned it was her other half that had strayed,

They hugged and they cried the returned said she would never leave again,

And Both lived happily ever after until world’s end. -Ebony F.
